An authentic tribute to Joy Division from San Francisco, CA.
Dead Souls is a tribute to Joy Division, formed out of the ashes of The Leaders of Men and The Ghost of Curtis.
Dead Souls combines the sound of Joy Division's albums with the performance of their live shows.
Bay Bridged show review 5/24/2010
Joy Division tribute band Dead Souls came on around midnight. I must admit some prejudice against cover bands, and I assumed I would skip out early on these guys to avoid a sleepy Thursday, but Dead Souls won me over in the first seconds when their singer came out from the back corner looking exactly like Ian, dancing like Ian and yes, singing like Ian. He really has it down and so does the rest of the band. They tore through most of the hits and drew the small, seated crowd right up front with everyone singing along and slam dancing. The members of this band are clearly devoted fans, but more importantly they are loving every minute of it. They take it very seriously and do it really well. As most of us never had the chance to see Joy Division, this is a real treat. If you are still reading, seek them out. R.I.P. Ian.

Spellbound
SPELLBOUND was formed by friends who all have a love of music, and play both professionally and just for fun.
The idea of a Siouxsie and the Banshees tribute band was born in the summer of 2006 during a collaboration with our original guitarist Orlando (Orlandissey) on a Morrissey/Smiths tribute album. Orlando quickly enlisted the talents of Buz and Aleph (the former rhythm section from Chrome) who both jumped at the chance.
The members of this band have been inspired throughout the years both by the originality and uniqueness of the songs of SATB, and as SPELLBOUND they strive to re-create both an accurate and exciting live portrayal of those songs throughout the twist and turns of The Banshees myriad musical phases.
SPELLBOUND faithfully (and energetically) perform many of SATB's 30+ chart hits (and some of their should-have-been hits) from the albums: The Scream, Kaleidoscope, Once Upon a Time: The Singles, Juju, A Kiss in the Dreamhouse, Nocturne, The Thorn, Tinderbox, Peepshow, Twice Upon a Time: The Singles, and Downside Up.
SPELLBOUND always welcome the chance to expand their own repertoire and to honor your song requests.
