Wreckless Freeks
Founded by The Mighty Lurch, Wreckless Freeks have been performing around the greater Puget Sound area since Oct 2011. Current members in addition to Lurch are Sideshow Ben, Boner the Ball Handling Clown, Little Bear the Bearded Lady (she sings opera too!) and our latest addition to the Freek Family, sword swallower Mazi Keen. Contortionist Gia Conteur is our current Freek Prospect.
There are many featured performers that join the Freeks onstage periodically to provide an even greater experience for the audience. Past performers have included - Twisted Trystan, Julia Ghoulia, Morgue Anne, Bella Luna, Janna Belle Lector, and Cirquesse. We are always looking for talented performers to join us, so if you have a sideshow talent, feel free to send us a message and we'll see what happens.
All of our acts are 100% real, and some of them could seriously hurt or even kill someone if done incorrectly, so PLEASE do NOT try any of this at home! Wreckless Freeks strive to create acts that are different than you might see with other sideshow groups, while featuring classic acts that have been around for many years.

Our shows are thrill-a-minute sideshow and vaudeville spectaculars with, depending on the occasion and the venue, some of the most amazing burlesque dancers in the region. Dying Off
Ok, so here it is. If you are taking time to read this, you must want to know more about this band than the average listener. First off, thanks and I’ll try to keep the lies easy to believe.
And now the introductions. I’m Squints. Some of you already know me from the Seattle based punk band of 20 years, THE BLOODCLOTS. I’m playing bass for both bands so ya, if you got four strings needing finger blasting, let me know. Also from THE BLOODCLOTS, Terry is front manning this band too which may explain why you were thinking this band kind of sounds something like THE BLOODCLOTS. The other half of DYINGOFF starts with Payton handling the lead guitar needs in this band. And yes, if you guessed he is the son of Squints from all the pix, your right! He filled in for us in the early practice sessions after losing the first lead guitar player Aaron S. Anyway, the kid put a lot of miles on guitars over the last fistful of years and definitely capable as fuck! So ya! Fuck! So before I introduce the 4th member of DYINGOFF, I’d just like to say anyone whom has been in long term working bands knows how essential it is to have a great drummer that’s not a dick! Emphasis on the “not a dick”. I had quite a lot written next to follow that statement, cursing the long list of asshole drummers of the past, but Terry advised me to take the highroad for now… So ya, Fuck! Intrinsically combined with the drum set and a worshipper of excess is Franny! Completing this line up like few could, with a diverse musical background in Franny’s possession; this band has a huge arsenal to pull from when we hit the stage!
Let’s see, introductions, middle part…. Fuck the middle part! Right to conclusions is the way of the west! And this could go on and on so… Ya, Fuck! So who’s who in the band is established. Now onto… The Broken Chain of Events.
Terry and I started working together back in 2010 on new material intending to compile enough tracks for a full length album by the time we singled out the right members. During the writing of the first grip of songs, we burned through what seemed to be a revolving door of tryouts, short time members and people who we wanted to leave but were not… Once our shit started getting solid, we had Aaron S. on drums and recorded a 6 song demo courtesy of Danger Dain at his Bunkar studio. Of course this drummer quit the band as soon as we played a couple shows after recording something. A series of vagabond drummers finally halted with Franny to make the band whole. DYINGOFF is currently in the last phase of song writing for that first full length but the demos pretty fucking good so get one from us in the here and now.
So to the come and went DYINGOFF players, thanks for contributing your time and wasting ours.
